Vintage original Woodblock print by Paul Jacoulet (1902-1960). This is entitled M. Keen et M. Lee , Seoul, Coree - Mr. Keen and Mr. Lee, Seoul, Korea. This is from the Korea series. This is a well colored woodblock encased in a clear acrylic frame with thin gold banding around the edges. There are subtle imprinted decoration on the robe of one gentleman. This is signed in pencil above the ivy leaf seal. It is Reference No. Miles #115 Carver: Kentaro Maeda Printer: Yoshizo Onotera Date 1951 Measurements: Woodblock: 16" by 11 3/4" ( I do not know if the print has been trimmed but I am assuming that it has) With frame: 20" by 16" Condition: Very good vintage condition. The colors are bright and there does not seem to be any fading. |
