Antique Japanese tetsubin or teapot. This is made of cast iron with a pebble finish, elongate spout and center decoration. The handle stays in the upright position. The lid appears to be made of wood and lacquer with the traditional pine cone finial. Age: Early 20th Century Measurements: Approximately 8" by 6 1/2" Condition: The are rust remnants on the bottom; this was clearly used. Otherwise, very good antique condition. |
