Set of three engraved Japanese bronze bells used in Zen Buddhism for prayer and meditation. These bells are attached to a metal base. Each engraved bell has a distinct sound. These were either temple bells or used in someone's personal shrine. There is no striker with these bells. Age: Meiji Measurements: 11 1/4" in length with a height of 5 1/2" Condition: The middle bell has a few dents from heavy handed gongs but otherwise in excellent antique condition. |
