Antique French hand painted jardiniere or planter. This planter has a background of midnight blue and green with flowers overall with a barbotine glaze This is by Montigny Sur Loing and has an impressed mark as well as a painted mark. Inscribed with DX for Delvaux. Age: 19th Century Measurements: Approximately 12" in diameter with a height of 7 3/4" Condition: One small nick to the rim and one small hole where there was a glaze bubble. This jardiniere has been used in the past so there are vestiges of use. Otherwise, in excellent antique condition. |
