A very well hand painted Japanese porcelain vase. Decorated with a peacock sitting on a cherry blossom tree trunk. The blossoms the the cherry tree are raised in relief. The peacock and tree trunk have a highly reflective glaze against the overall crazed taupe patina with gold accents. Artist signed on the bottom
For your consideration is this wonderful mid 20th Century Japanese pottery plate. Unfortunately, I am not certain if I have the plate up or down or if the chops marks are up or down. For your consideration is this fine Japanese porcelain Satsuma style cabinet plate. A temple sits in the hills against a landscape with a waterfall with Mount Fuji in the background. Yabu Mezien style maple leaves hang over the temple while an explosion of flowers surround the plate. All details are encased in gold relief. Hallmarked on the back.
For your consideration is this unique Japanese mixed metals silver box. On the top of the box is a high relief figure of a samurai warrior on a horse done in what looks to be gold, bronze, and copper with gold wash details. The detail is amazing. The outside rim of the lid is surrounded with silver done to imitate bamboo. Engraved flowers on all sides. The top must go on a certain way for the flowers to match up. Fine antique Japanese gold maki lacquered cabinet or chest. The outside of the cabinet is adorned with gold maki and decorations of a Japanese temple and cranes. Open up the doors and you have 4 black lacquered drawers. There are ornate hinges and lock but there is no key.
Vintage original Woodblock print by Paul Jacoulet (1902-1960). This is entitled M. Keen et M. Lee , Seoul, Coree - Mr. Keen and Mr. Lee, Seoul, Korea. This is from the Korea series. This is a well colored woodblock encased in a clear acrylic frame with thin gold banding around the edges. There are subtle imprinted decoration on the robe of one gentleman.

Beautiful large Japanese satsuma earthenware vase with irises on both sides and decoration around the rim. This looks like it was artist signed at one time on the bottom but it is mostly rubbed off and barely visible.
Measurements: Almost 14" in height with a width of approximately 10" at the widest point.
