More unusual than coffee or tea sets, is this Japanese lustreware chocolate set. Tall chocolate pot with 2 tall cups for chocolate or cocoa. Hand painted with phoenix birds on each side, the decorations on the pot match the decorations on the cups and saucers. Unsigned.
This delightful porcelain figurine of a puppy dog greets one with the most soulful look. Possibly a Springer Spaniel but could be another breed of dog, I am not a dog breed expert. Hallmarked "Made in Austria" on the bottom.
Fine Royal Doulton figurine, number HN 2317, entitled The Lobster Man. This is part of the Sea Characters Series. It was designed by M. Nicall in 1963 and was retired in 1994.

(1891- 1978), one of Rosenthal's most prolific designers. The artist's initials are on the base. This particular figurine is shown with various designs and colors of her headdress and drape. The gold on this is exquisite.
This is an exquisite porcelain figurine of a fox. Unfortunately, I cannot make out the manufacturer. It is signed **** Bach but the first part is scratched off. It was sold by Maurice Bloch, a store in Geneve.
Stunning Lenox cabinet or service dinner plates. This is a set of 12. Each ivory porcelain plate has 2" decorated rim, framed with two distinct and different gold encrusted embellishments on a cobalt blue background. The raised gold dots were meticulously applied clearly by someone of great talent.
