Chinese Export scalloped plate decorated with pheasants, birds, flowers. Looks very similar to older English transferware. Hand signed on the back. What is interesting is that there are also English written numbers by the mark.

Fine example of Kutani porcelain. Hand painted figures in three separate cartouches surround the teapot and the fourth cartouche contains handpainting of Mount Fuji and a house with cherry blossoms. Intricate gold work covers the rest of the teapot and lid. Hallmarked on the bottom. What this teapot also has is a porcelain tea strainer.
A wonderful example of early Japanese Satsuma depicted in this large hand painted Satsuma vase. The vase is in form of a bamboo limb with 6 figures around the center with Mount Fuji in the background. The figures could be deities, elders,scholars and possibly one samurai. Well painted.
