This is fine French personal altar, icon, or plaque. Made of Bronze Dore and encased Black Basalt. Hallmarked Biscay and Cie, Paris. It has a circular hanger and well can be self standing as a picture. The doors open to Madonna with a gold halo and rays of gold coming from her open hands. Angels play trumpets on each side panel. This is an exquisite piece and was difficult to photograph properly.
